Esomeprazole is a prescription medicine used to treat certain types of upper gastrointestinal (GI) ulcers (gastric and duodenal ulcers) caused by certain drugs. Esomeprazole belongs to a group of drugs called proton pump inhibitors (PPIs). It works by reducing the amount of acid produced by the gastric and duodenum that occurs in response to a meal. Lowering your stomach acidity helps reduce the pain and irritation that is associated with these conditions. Esomeprazole is only indicated to treat symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) in adults and to prevent further damage to the stomach and duodenum. It should only be used in cases of chronic proton therapy in adults and children who are at risk of developing this condition. Esomeprazole should not be used by people who are allergic to esomeprazole. It is also not recommended for use in people who are taking rilpivirine, or an antiviral drug, or those who are taking ketoconazole, itraconazole, and other PPIs. If you have been advised by your doctor to avoid sexual activity because of an allergic reaction to this drug or any of the ingredients of this product to prevent your risk of experiencing this risk, your doctor should not take you for a hypersensitivity to esomeprazole.

Q.As per the prescription forNexium 24HR Injection 100mg, I used to take Nexium 24HR for 14 days after I had my stomach ulcer, for a period of 14 days, every 4 days for 4 days. I had GERD in my esophagus before I was prescribed Nexium 24HR. I do not know if the GERD is caused by Nexium 24HR or it’s effects on the stomach lining.
A.When I was first taking Nexium 24HR, I had a hard time getting an acid reflux. The doctor suggested that I take a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication (NSAID), such as Nexium 24HR (esomeprazole) before taking a pill. Nexium 24HR can also be used for a longer duration of time if it is taken in the morning. Nexium 24HR is taken as a 24 hour continuous dose.
What are the symptoms of GERD?
I would like to inform all of my family and friends that I have taken Nexium 24HR for over two years and my symptoms have improved. I am not pregnant or planning for pregnancy. I have mild stomach discomfort and pain in my lower back area. The symptoms of GERD in my esophagus are painful and often bothersome. I am trying to get my symptoms checked. The symptoms are also painful, bothersome, and have not improved after I took the Nexium 24HR for a while. I am now experiencing the following symptoms:
I feel like I am going into a state of complete indigestion. I don’t want to have to worry about my esophagus breaking and feeling like I am going to pass out. I am very anxious to have a baby. I am very physically tired. I can’t perform at work and have to take daily walk or bike ride. I am in severe pain in my upper stomach and with a pain in my lower back I am not allowed to drive. I can’t eat or drink. I am not able to perform at work, do my homework, or do anything.
